Job Description

The Program Coordinator recommends and plans camp activities, ensuring all activities are appropriate for each age/ability group and in keeping with the summer theme and mission of the camp. He/she will organize and lead a variety of camp activities each day, help campers prepare skits and/or songs for fireside nights, be proactive in encouraging positive behaviour and teamwork, and accommodate behavioural challenges. He/she is responsible for always ensuring a clean, organized and safe camp activity environment is present. He/she shall ensure activities are designed to maximize key learning objectives and are inherently safe in their design. The Program Coordinator will guide and mentor younger staff in our leadership programs by leading and participating in Bible study, chapel and campfire. He/she is responsible for scheduling and aiding volunteers in carrying out theme-related duties.
