Camp Chief Hector YMCA is an outdoor overnight camp and Outdoor Education Center located in the Bow Valley through the YMCA of Calgary. We focus on providing outdoor experiential programming that is inclusive to our participants, fostering a sense of belonging by encouraging activities that teach teamwork and problem solving. Our programs encourage resiliency, physical and emotional literacy skills development through our outdoor and nature based programming. Camp activities include: archery, canoeing, high ropes, low ropes, horseback riding, backcountry expeditions and general camp games.
