Camp Kannawin is a children summer camp, owned and operated by the Presbyterian Church in Canada. We are located on the north-west side of Sylvan Lake neighbouring Jarvis Bay Campground. We are the only Presbyterian camp in the Province of Alberta. For over 75 years, kids of all different ages have come from across the province to Camp Kannawin to have a fun and high quality camping experience. Across our 7 acres of land we have 9 sleeping cabins, a large main building with a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining hall, and a large hall in the lower level. Camp Kannawin’s history is out in the open for everyone to enjoy, as each cabin group has had the opportunity to paint a plaque with their fellow cabin mates to leave their mark on Camp Kannawin forever. Camp Kannawin would not be what it is today without everyone’s kindness and generosity. Camp Kannawin hosts various children’s and family summer camp programs throughout June and July. We also offer our entire property for rental during the year, the large area is perfect for weddings, conferences, retreats, family reunions, and much more
